We will be kicking off the controlled Beta of PC Tools Together on Wednesday May 6th (3pm GMT). If you are a Beta volunteer, you will have the first look at the live application.

Not a volunteer but want to get involved?
It's not too late. Just request access in this thread (include what language or if English only) and all the details will be sent to you via Private Message.

What will happen?
On Friday I will be sending out an email with the user name and password to the test site - http://together.threatfire.com - to all the participants. This will give full access and allow participants to view all pages, submit and review translations, and test out other functionality.

How You Can Contribute?
If you only speak English, you can give us valuable feedback on the usability (We will be adding a fun language like Elmer Fudd you can test the translation process with), comment on the look and feel as well as report any bugs.

If you speak additional languages we will add the ability to translate ThreatFire into those. Any languages completed during the Beta period will be released for free at the official launch (May 25th).

What Will the First Community Created Language Be?

One additional thing to mention. The Beta version WILL include a virtual keyboard option that will allow contributors to translate into any language (including right to left langs like Arabic) with any keyboard.

Now just waiting for NORWEGIAN? to get on the list and the virtual key-board?

There were actually two Norwegian dialects (Bokmal and Nynorsk) - I suspect it may be preferred to just have a main "Norwegian" as an offering?

We expect the virtual keyboard to appear early next week (We have a solution to provide it)

All - The site may be slow or down for approximately 30 minutes.

We are adding in some of the Turkish translation saner had done earlier and it requires us to take it down shortly to test the import functionality.

All apologies

The site is back up with existing Turkish translations added, Norwegian has been added, and I will post a notification when the virtual keyboard is available.

Thanks
