Dial up connection

How do I prevent my dial up information from changing by unauthorized persons? Is there some way to hide the information from viewing but still automatic execute the dial up process when called by Internet Explorer? I need this feature badly in my public access Internet computer, because any s. c. “computer expert” thinks to have make changes in the dial up script ad this get very annoying.

Through Windows Explorer, Netscape, or Internet Explorer?

Well, as I mentioned we access Internet thru IE 5.01 (MS Internet Explorer).
