Desktop Update

I'm unable to change my settings in Explorer under the VIEW/FOLDER OPTIONS menu for DESKTOP UPDATE. Is there key that I need to disable this security feature?

Backup the registry and/or export the following keys:
go to Start>Run, type regedit. Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

Right-click on the NoFolderOptions entry, choose modify and type in the number 0.
