small screen just shows "Loading ... "

After the last smart update all I get is a small screen that says "Loading ... "
and never goes away. Has anyone else seen this? Have a solutin?

10.004.019 (6.12140),
this stayed on screen for about 5 to 8 minutes with PCTAVSvc.exe at 50% to 90% CPU before UI loaded.

Edit: Subsequent restarts have been "normal".

First of all, I must thank PC Tools for their generosity. You are giving my primary school the chance to have antivirus on our computers (our government acts as if children were cows to be just kept indoor and fed). I am experiencing the same "loading" issue. For example, the screen lasted for five and a half minutes on a Windows Vista, 1 year-old (our best) machine. I would be even more grateful if this issue were solved. Also the AV seems to be a little slow on startup. Thank you again.

Hi Guys,

I just checked this with the developers and this is occuring because of the previous bug with removing temp files which has been addressed in the new release of PCTAV v6.0.0.19. Therefore it is expected to experience the loading after the first update. However, this should only occur as a once off once all the temp files are cleaned.
