Hello All,

I am extremely sorry if this question had already been answered previously (I'm pretty sure it had) but I couldnt find any threads regarding this question.

Okay, I just wanted to know if the spyware doctor starter edition has less signatures (different databases) than the paid version of Spyware Doctor (w/o antivirus). Also, if there is a difference in the amount of signatures between the two, then what are the differences in the missing signatures? Is it that Spyware Doctor Starter Edition signatures onl contain the most abundant threats or something along that line?

Also, for the Spyware Doctor w/ antivirus, do the # of signatures shown in the program include the virus signatures?

Thanks in advance,
Sekhar.B

Hi Sekhar.B,

The difference with the Starter Edition DB and the paid version is the AV/Malware database.

thanks for responding so quickly.

What are the difference between the databases?

The database in the paid version includes additional signatures for more comprehensive protection.

Information on the differences with the Starter edition and the paid version can be found here (http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/google_pack/).
