Version 6 using version 5 database?

After many problems with the last updated software I have kept one of my PC’s with 6.0.0.386. But I noticed that the database version is 5.12110 which I thought was for version 5. Is this OK?

Although the latest Spyware Doctor uses signature set 6.xxxxx they all havethe same total signatures and will therefore detect the same malware. There are a few modifications in the latest signature versions which make them more efficient though.

Thanks, at some time I will risk the newere version. Its a pitty there isn't a list of known bugs and when they have been fixed as with some other programs, As such the only way to find out if the problem/s you have been fixed is oftern to try the latist version again, last time ending in a lot of problems with this PC!
