No internet connection

Have 2 vista and 1 xp and CA 2009 internet Security on all.
Install sd6 on any and internet has no connectivity. Remove sd6, and internet connectivity is ok. Any suggestions?

Some component of CA 2009 is conflicting with SD. Try temporarily disabling CA 2009, then give it a try.

I Want to keep Ca internet security. I bought sd6 with anti-virus after using the google free version(no problems), Emailed support and had the anti virus removed from my subscription, still no connectivity with sd6 installed.Now after a little research seems other people have similar problems, but no fix except to remove one or the other.

That is a common problem with the online protection solutions. They tend to conflict with each other as they aim to protect the same resources.

Since you want to keep CA 2009, one solution would be to disable Spyware doctor and use it as a backup standalone scanner only, however, you may have to temporarily disable CA 2009 to get Spyware Doctor updated.

Hi Billyt,

Could you try disabling Intelli-Guard and see if this helps. If this doesn't help, could you try shutting down SD without uninstalling.
