SD6/Vista Problem

I just reformat my laptop and got Vista Home premium installed also got all the win updates. I installed avira and everything was fine then I installed the new version of SD6 and after I restart my laptop it doesn't go to windows, it just stops at the loading bar. I decided to just turn off the laptop and when I turn it on it says there was a problem with windows so I run repair and it used system restore so I got back in and SD6 was gone and everything went back to normal.

Any idea whats wrong? I never encountered this problem with SD. I feel my subscription is going to waste cause I can't use SD.

Which version of Vista are you running 32 or 64 bit?

Make sure that you have downloaded the most recent copy of SD. It is v 440.

Try temporarily disabling Avira, then try installing SD again.

If that does not work, keep Avira disablead and try installing SD in safe mode.

If all works, re-enable Avira.
