minor observation

on 440, have been using the one click right scan, love it. But today the little box that pops up would NOT disappear when the X was clicked. Scanned another file and same thing happened. Had to reboot to get rid of the boxes.

On reboot my compute seemed slow. What was happening in vista business sp1 totally patched is the vista index had turned on and somehow was interacting with the display box of the one click run of SD+AV

Minor but who knows if a useful clue for something else

I just gave this a test, but could not recreate the problem. Is it still occuring? could have been some sort of a minor glitch.

I've used one click scanning a dozen times since then and no problem.

I suspect that the vista indexing service turned on at the exact micro second that I did one of my clicks confusing matters. Or sometimes even if you click to fast in vista displays do go awry for a while.

Anyway, no problem, unlike the mysterious ignored infection problem that tech support is trying to help me with. (no ignored infection prior to 440 one right after)

Really bothers me that there is an unknown but ignored infection on my machine.
