Hi,
I have a virus on my flash drive that is not detected by iAntiVirus. It is a Windows virus (I got it from using a windows computer at another location), and copies itself to all flash media. It creates the directory (this is what I see on OS X 10.5.6) /Volumes/[flash drive name]/RESTORE/S-1-5-21-1482476501-1644491937-682003330-1013/Drive13.exe. "Drive13.exe" is the virus itself, and it also creates another file called "Desktop.ini".
More information is available here (http://www.threatexpert.com/report.aspx?md5=7783407fdf54ba6ecc097a6fff3c3983).
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A WINDOWS VIRUS AND IS HARMLESS IN OS X. IT IS MEARLY A NUISANCE.
I have tried Terminal; sudo rm -rf /Volumes/[flash drive name]/RESTORE/
Error: Operation not permitted.
I have tried using ClamXav and the file is not detected, as with iAntiVirus.
I would appreciate any help.
