MBAM and SD conflicts

I use SD (no AV) for real time protection, lately MBAM is taking MUCH longer to scan (free version), I disabled SD and everything was fine so there is some sort of conflict between the two. I know many people use both.

As both products are continually being developed, it is posssible that there could be conflicts. I have not used MBAM in few months.

Whenever I use backup scanners (Avira, Malwarebytes, etc.) I always disable SD. Just a good practice.

I just ran some tests

Full MBAM scan with SD/AV/BG active... 15.58 minutes.

Full MBAM scan with SD/AV/BG disabled... 13.36 minutes.

Not a big degradation.

SD is monitoring running processes and active files which will cause bytes to take longer per file checked.
