I ran the iAntivirus uninstaller, but before I did, I used CleanApp to determine what files should be removed. After running the uninstaller, I found that all the preference files located in /Users/<yourusername>/Library/Preferences were still there. They all started with com.pctools. Unless this is by design for some reason, you might want to make sure the uninstaller removes these as well.

Lots of uninstallers do this so that if you wish to re-install your application then your preferences will be restored.

GoneToPlaid is correct, the preferences files are left intact incase you would like to reinstall iAntiVirus later.

I always use REVO for un-install. Seems to take the most of the left over garbage. problem might be if You want to re install -You have to re-enter the code.

Thanks, I figured that might be the case. I'm relatively new to the Mac, so I don't know all the standard behaviors yet.
