This does not seem to be related to ThreatFire, what product are you using? It seems to be Browser Defender dll.

Hi Rikster,

Could you send us some log files so we can investigate this further? Please see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308538.

Rikster, we have a build which should resolve this issue. If you would like to try out this build, please send me your email address via PM.

I'm not sure where they are ... but here's the problem I logged .....

Problem Event Name: ServiceHang
Service Name: CLCapSvc
Image Name: CLCapSvc.exe"
Image Version: 0.0.0.0
Service Type: 110
Start Type: 2
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 2057
The only other details I had were in the first email above.
I'm quite happy without browser defender ... my website access is a bit quicker. If you could direct me to some logs somewhere I'll happily have another search, but I don't think I need a solution...I'll just live without it.

clcapsvc.exe is a process belonging to CyberLink PowerCinema, to record TV in the background while you are watching so that you can pause, rewind, etc.
