someone please help!!!

Norton antivirus detects packed.generic.200 but spyware dr. doesn't.

I ran the latest version of spyware dr.. in regular mode and in safe mode. spyware doesn't detect but norton anti will come up with a pop up and blocks the packed.generic.200 program.

i see four .dll's that seem affected.

Hi
The detection by Norton is using a "generic" or "heuristic" detection. This isn't a precise signature, but an educated guess looking at code analysis and pattern analysis withing the file.
This could mean that the detection is a false positive, or it could just be that the heuristics are good.
Why don't you submit the files to www.virustotal.com to be scanned by over 20 different antivirus engines? That way you can tell if the files are indeed infected (and it also submits the files to the antivirus vendors to create signatures).
Hope that helps

Also to add... Spyware Doctor standalone does not check viruses, Spyware Doctor with Anti-virus does.

Please verify what you are running.
