PCTools Antivirus blocking downloads

I was using ThreatFire and PCTools Antivirus on Aspire One (WinXP Home), but when both were running, most of downloads ended up with a Firefox error that file cannot finish downloading. When i disabled just Antivirus, downloads finished without any problem. As soon as i've enabled it back, same issue.

I was using latest versions of both and Firefox 3.0.6 on fully patched WinXP Home.

Firefox tries to get the installed antivirus program to scan all files that are downloaded. As PC Tools AntiVirus doesn't have this feature it is causing issues.
