Browser defender provides a safety check of the sites that come up with a google search. That's really useful.

When I use my bookmarks and click onto the sites that I regularly use -- hopefully all safe sites -- browser defender stalls the click for a second making sure the site is safe. For the sites that i regularly use weather, book store, my bank, the second that it takes for BD to check gets a bit boring. Does BD learn that a regularly used site is safe and can then quickly approve it?

thanks

Hi Tigertheboo,

At the moment the answer is a no, however we are looking at adding a learning feature for future versions of BD.

It surely would be nice to have PC Tools implement some type of caching mechanism in Browser Defender, or for the mean-time an mere ignore list. I frequently visit and re-visit MANY websites in a run of a day, and I don't like the fact repeated procedures are done every single time.

Not to mention if you guys simply implemented an easy to-do ignore list feature (which I've seen implemented in all the other similar type products), I could have certain problematic webpages ignored that causes Browser Defender to re-act and lead to my Internet Explorer to crash ... and have to uninstall this product until whenever the problem finally gets dealt with.
