I understand that iAntivirus is mainly for viruses, and MacScan is mainly for spyware. But iAntivirus also purports to detect spyware. So, setting aside tracking cookies (which only MacScan finds), what is the overlap between the two products? If you're using iAntivirus, does MacScan detect anything different (again, besides tracking cookies)?

Hi RevanRules,
I haven't looked at MacScan recently but you can compare detections of iAntiVirus and MacScan here (http://iantivirus.com/threats/) and here (http://macscan.securemac.com/spyware-list/).
Apart from this I don't think MacScan can scan inside archives, doesn't have heuristics or any realtime protection, maybe no quarantine either.
