Hi everyone,

You now have the option of getting the fully registered version of iAntiVirus using TrialPay.

This is a great way to get all the benefits of the paid version for free!

For more information, and to take advantage of this offer, visit http://www.iantivirus.com/download/ and click "Get it Free" at the bottom of the "Paid version (free)" column.

Is the full version going to max out/overheat, and ultimately kill, my MBP like the free version?

I was hoping "idburns" would provide some detail before I installed the prog. myself, I believe I experienced what he refers to though as my cpu usage started going quite high (50%) while only running Firefox & Thunderbird. I narrowed it down to iAntivirus (1.35) which I have stopped using and now cpu usage is around (20%). The temps I saw were quite high usually around 180F but without running iAntivirus I still see temps aproaching this while running heavy apps or streaming video so the only problem was IAntivirus using more CPU power then it should. Hopefully the new version (1.36) addresses this issue.

All you need to do is enter your license code into the free version and run a Smart update. This will change it into the full version.
What do you mean the license is not welcome in that version?

Is the free version available for use by non-profits (e.g., k-12 or colleges) or do they considered "business and commercial" users"

Dear Super Mod., I am posting to this thread as you have closed the problem reporting thread you originally opened in 3/09.

Are you still interested in receiving problems/suggestions on the Free edition of your iMac s/w? If so, is the procedure still the same as last year or have you simplified it (I hope!).

Cheers, Peter.
