Loading Monitors

I customised Spy Doctor not to load at the startup of my PC because it takes too long and I only want it to start up when I want. However, at the most importune moment the SD screen comes up and proceeds to load its monitors.
I am unable to do any work on the pc while this screen is up and I have to wait several minutes until it loads. I cannot even stop it once it starts. How do I stop this annoying habit and get the pc back under my control?

Just read the answer to my problem - see other later thread 24nov2006 "Spyware Doctor autolaunches". I did not notice that it was when I launched IE that my problem arose as I use various browsers. Now back in control.
