I'm still running Windows Vista x64, and Internet Explorer 7 - 32-bit version. :)

I'm using Browser Defender v2.0.5.99 (IE); and Help About files versions; PCTBrowserDefender.dll - 2.0.5.99, PCTBDCore.dll - 2.0.5.99, PCTBDRes.dll - 2.0.5.99

Non-Technical description of the problem... downloading files (executable files for sure, haven't tested other types of files), seems to cause PCTBDCore.dll to fault almost upon file completion. WOW HOLD ON NOW!, don't try to reproduce it just yet... there's more information to be giving here. ;)

It only seems to happen when the parent application isn't the Windows shell, ... downloads attempted after having launched Internet Explorer by a third-party product. For instance, using CCleaner, launch the CCleaner application and click on it's 'Check for updates...' hyperlink, now visit the download page and attempt to download.

Problem reproduced every-time, for me...

- Doesn't matter if Protection is OFF already
- Always occurs on 99%
- Not just specific for executable file downloads

- When reproducing, ensure no browser is running already

I was able to reproduce the same fault but in a different fashion.

Visiting http://www.entusa.com/surgery_video_html/ear_tube_2_wmv2.htm that contains video to play, this time the Internet Explorer can be launched the usual way, through desktop icon.
