Hi, please try quitting iAntiVirus (hit [Cmd] + [Q] while the main window is open) and starting it up again. Does this solve the problem? Thanks

It doesn't here certainly. I have had to go back to an earlier version to use 'Protect my Mac'. Any ideas?

Hi, could you please Smart Update to the latest version and let me know whether it's still an issue?
If it is please try these steps:
1. Restart iAV (as per my previous post), if that doesn't solve it then
2. Restart your Mac
3. If 1 and 2 didn't work, then uninstall iAV, reboot, download the latest package from iantivirus.com and install

Please let me know if these address the problem, if not I'll PM you some more instructions.

No they don't. Every time I shut down or reboot, I have to click several times to get iAntivirus started. Sometimes it will start and I am 'protected' – other times it will start but I cannot set 'protect my mac'. At the moment it won't start at all on the latest version...

When you say it won't start at all with the latest version, is it version 1.33?
If you are using 1.33 and having problems please PM me the output of the kextstat command:
Open terminal from Applications -> Utilities
type:
kexstat > ~/Desktop/output.txt [enter]
exit [enter]

Open output.txt from your desktop and PM me the contents, then we can take it from there.

Thanks

Macintosh:~] thomasgorton% kexstat > ~/Desktop/output.txt
kexstat: Command not found.
[Macintosh:~] thomasgorton% exit
logout

[Process completed]

I cut and pasted this command as above ???

Sorry I made a typo, the command should be kextstat not kexstat.
