How to remove Toolbar icon? (Mac)

Is it possible to remove the icon for iAntiVirus from the toolbar on OSX (10.5.6)? I've tried using command + drag, but that doesn't work. I have version 1.3 right now if that helps at all.

I notice that there is an option for "do not show the iAntiVirus dock icon", but no equivalent for the toolbar icon. I prefer having the icon on my dock, not on the toolbar, so currently the toolbar icon is wasting space.

Any help is appreciated.

Currently there is no option to disable the statusitem - we may add this in a future version.
