Great combo

Every feature(except PCTools AV) is enabled with MAX settings , and it all really just flies with no collisions in between

I see it seems you have disabled pctav before installed NIS
Anyway,I advise you do not install 2 av programs together

yes , the PCT AV module is disabled , and everything works just great , as it was with KIS 7

Yes it is a Great Combo. I've been running NIS for about 8 years now. I have just added Spyware Doctor (without antivirus) in April of this year. Both NIS 2008 and SD worked great. My concern was if SD would work with NIS 2009 because NIS 2009 was completely overhauled. Installed NIS 2009 when it was released and Both work very well together, I have no complaints with either.

Well , any Norton before 2008 edition was a piece of crap never seen before.
And Norton 2009 is much much better than 2008 , so I took it instead of Kaspersky 2009.

Thanks ProTruckDriver! This was exactly what I wanted to hear before upgrading some of my computers to NIS 2009 and continuing to use SD. :)

You really should try it man , rock solid and no pop-ups.
I've installed it a month ago , enough time to get the right impression

I've skipped KIS 2009 , IMHO they got HIPS application management all wrong and very annoying, so I really prefer the "no pop-up" approach of NIS 2009 with heuristics set to "aggressive" and SD Behavior Guard-->ON .
