negatively impact the installed SD?

Those addon are only for the most stable version of SD. Does not work for any beta version of SD. I downloaded the most newest version of SD Beta at the PC Tool Beta Forum and the Setup of the BG, EG, SG says cannot find Spyware Doctor On Your Computer. If you want to use the Spyware Doctor Addon you must use the most stable version of SD. The SD addons does not work with any beta version of SD

I am a bit confused.

I am using ver SD/AV v .386, and DID NOT add the addons specifically but I DO have E-mail Guard v 6.0.0.3 and Site Guard v 6.0.0.0 as shown in the Intelliguard tab. Therefore, I surmise that these 2 guards come with v .386

I installed Behavior Guard v 6.0.0.11 via My Account.

My question was and still is, if one uses the addins with ver .386, will it cause issues?

Hi Haapy,

If you have installed the SD standalone version 6.0.0.386 and wish to install Site Guard and Email Guard, you will need to visit: http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/addons/.

If however, you have installed SD+AV, Site Guard and Email Guard is included in the installer.

This option is not available in MyAccount just yet.

In my account I only have the options to activate Behavior Guard and Anti-virus.

Why is mine different?

I have EMG and SG and never did the addon from the addon site.

No. Not negatively impacting anything at all.

All is good.

I just never did the addon thing and I have the addons installed.

As a matter of fact I have uninstalled reinstalled a coupleof times and the addons are always there.

Why would that be?

Do you have SD or SD+AV installed?

This is why you have SG and EG installed :)
SG and EG are included in the SD+AV installer.
