When I turn on my computer I am getting a message as follows:

Failed on loading skin name "minibcont". The file "shell.css" is required in your "sscommon/skins/minibcont/css/" directory.

To fix this problem, please check the skin name in your config file or reinstall this application.

This window will be closed.

At the end of that statement there is a "OK" button. When I click "OK" I get the following message:

The web page you are viewing is trying to close the window.

Do you want to close the window ?

After that message there are two buttons, yes and no. Yes is the default. When i click on that one the first message re-appears, I again click "OK" and it's gone.

Again this is upon initial start-up so I am not trying to view a web page. I also do not even use IE. I use Firefox.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hello RetiredVOMA

Reinstall Vista And See if it fixes your program. This is a missing file in Vista. Reintall Vista it the only way to repair the missing file. IE is sharing with FireFox that why firefox is saying The web page you are viewing is trying to close the window and Do you want to close the window. Please reinstall windows and it will fix this program.

Hope it helps
Me too !!!

Just so I'm straight on this, can I just use the reinstall/recovery disk and that should take care of it ???

What caused this problem ? How does a file disappear ?
