I have a program that runs from the c: drive, but access a database on the server.
the database resides on multiple servers in multiple locations (each with info specific to that location).
There are a limited number of people who need to access information on several of the servers. I have accomplished this by calling the .EXE file in a batch file after mapping a network drive to the chosen server using the "NET USE" command
This worked fine in win98, but it pops up the contents of the newly mapped drive under win2K pro.... does anyone know of a way to map a network drive without the new pop-up?
The bossman might get capral tunnel syndrom from having to click the mouse button one extra time :)
