i like the interface of this app , and i think PCTAV is one of the best revelations in ANTIVIRUS category.
But there's an issue to resolve and its so urgent!!
I have a downloader FDM witch has the hability to scan the files when completed. I was trying to associate with PCTAV, but i tryed during 2 hours many commands like PCTAV %1 PCTAVShellExtension.dll %1, RUNDLL32.EXE PCTAVShellExtension.dll...but noone works :(:(
the context menu is associated to PCTAVShellExtension.dll
Can any expert of PC TOOLS inform us the entrpoint and the parameters please?
FORMAT : RUNDLL32.EXE <dllname>,<entrypoint> <optional arguments>
PERHAPS: RUNDLL32.EXE PCTAVShellExtension.dll, ????????? , "THE FILE TO SCAN??"
Best of rgards.

Hi
The command line options you are using are incorrect. While that DLL file is responsible for context-menu (right-click) scanning it does not accept arguements like that.
I'm not sure about using command line options, I'll see if I can find out in the documentation.

Hi
I'm afraid I don't work for PC Tools. I am a volunteer on the forum. However, I have looked through the documentation for PC Tools AntiVirus and can't find anything about setting this up. I suggest you send an email to support@pctools.com to find out what you are looking for.

Hi Nelson,
The current version of PCTAV does not have this command line feature. We may add something in future versions, but for now, it will not work.
