Hi all,

every time I open my laptop I have this thing coming up, "Infineon resource file SpURsDII not found". Once closed everything is fine, except when I open the Control Panel (appears and I have to close it, the mouse thingy being very slow). Did not bother me much since I was busy and everything works, but recently I tried to open Infineon (program) and I can't.

I can't quite pinpoint when this started, but after reading a thread here about Registry Mechanic deleting an Infineon file, I am thinking that it started after a free trial with Registry Cleaner. I had that program removed a long time ago, so is there any way I can re-do this? Can I ask Windows to go back whenever, before I used the Registry Cleaner?

If you have any solutions please explain them as you would to a door knob, when it comes to software I am pretty close to that :)

Thank you...

You failed to list the version of Windows you are using but if it's Vista maybe this page explains it [or maybe not]:

You could use System Restore but it may not go far enough back in time, the hazard of putting off trying to fix the problem. By Default WinXP reserves 12% of each HDD or partition for System Restore and Vista reserves 15%. Neither of those will let one go back very far in dates unless the computer is seldom turned off. I seldom turn off my computer and have Restore Points back to early July.

Another thing is your AntiVirus program may ruin a restore point when it finds an infection in it.
