The newest Browser Defender toolbar (1.0.1) is customizable.

No more wasting toolbar realestate :D

Simply View->Toolbars->Customize... Then drag the Browser Defender toolbar to where you want it. To remove the original place holder for the toolbar: View->Toolbars-> uncheck "Browser Defender" entry.

I don't know what was changed, but the engine appears a lot quicker to test pages. An example page is http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/ With the old version (0.18.60) it would take about 15 seconds to test, the new version takes about 5 seconds.

Hey Kern, I'm not sure if it is just me, but have you noticed there is a delay when the urlbar history pops up while typing in a url?

Also, I couldn't find any options to change the language. How did you work out that they support German language?

Not sure, I have both the German and English versions of FF installed. I just dragged on the XPI file and the toolbar was in German. Must be a smart programmer who detects the language version of FF.

Cool. Rather useless to me though, as I don't speak German. So, does it support any other languages apart from English and German?

I just checked the online help. No help there :) As long as it supports English, I'm happy.

I do hope they fix the "bug" with the delay when typing urls in the toolbar. This is annoying. Maybe it is like Vista, a mud guard. Shiny on top sh*t underneath.

Hmmm, no reply. Maybe I have stepped on someone's toes. Maybe Kern is the developer... In that case: The FF toolbar is amazing, Woo Hoo, it is great... except for that "bug". :D
