Try a fast scan on archives in your settings instead of normal. I had a couple files it hung on and quit when i changed that setting.
Under the General tab

We have a build which should resolve this issue. If you would like to try this build, please send me your email address via PM and I'll send this to you :)

Hi Arilo,
Thanks for trying and sorry to hear that 1.0 didn't resolve the problem for you.
Could you please:
1. Extract the contents of the zip file the scan gets stuck on to a new folder
2. Run a custom scan on that new folder
3. Let us know which extracted file the scan gets stuck on
Thanks in advance!

Hi anbu,
That's quite strange, in our testing v1.0 resolved this issue with Acrobat 8.
Could you please send us a message with the PNG file which the scan gets stuck on attached so we can investigate further?
Thanks!

I am sort of confused on this matter now. But, once I transfered the file below off of the machine, the scan worked fine and completed. For some reason, the program cant bypass a adobe (windows) executable.
Perhaps this could be looked into by the software team because even though I am a Mac user, I am sure other people like myself will occasionally download Windows apps.

Hi All
I follow the example from Anbu9 and I remove from The Mac any .exe and the scan worked fine no problem.:D
I suppose I will keep does files in a external drive.:)
Thanks for your help

Hi Arilo and Anbu,
Thanks so much for your help tracking this down.
We have successfully (!) recreated the problem you've been experiencing with that particular Windows file and are in the process of applying a fix to the scan engine - once available, the update will be announced on this forum.
Thanks again.
