I have a dual boot system Win98 & Win2000. I went to clean install Win98. I formated C, no problem. I Went to SETUP.EXE and got error message SUWIN.EXE.00B:0232. I cannot get past this point or boot to Win2000. Any ideas? Also how do I boot to Win2000 Thank you

On a dual boot system the boot process is controlled by Windows 2000. It hands of control to the Windows 98 boot sector after you have selected Windows 98 at the boot menu. By formatting C: you have most likely deleted the boot files required for Windows 2000. You could try repairing the Windows 2000 installation first. The option for repair should be available when you run setup for W2K.
Hope this helps.

I forgot to mention I use BootMagic. I used the rescue disk to get to Win2000. That is fine now but I still cannot load Win98SE. "Application error SUWIN caused a General Protection fault in module SUWIN.EXE at 000C:195A". Also 00B:0232 and 00c:1000.

Andy, thank you for the reply. I do not have a SBLive card. I still cannot figure out what is going on in that partition.

There are a variety of knowledge base articles relating to this problem. If you go to the Microsoft knowledge base and search for suwin.exe you should get a list of articles.
Unfortunately as there are multiple issues which can cause this error you may have to just go through them one at a time.
