How to input free license code?

Hi,

I have just received, with thanks, my free license code to PG.
The new code and date is also recorded in 'My Account'.
I already had version 4.1.0.37 installed on my computer,
under my old license code, which expired last month.
So I uninstalled PG and re-installed it, thinking that I would be able to register with the new code. But it still opens a pop-up window telling me that the subscription has expired and two options, to renew now or later.

Any ideas on how I can get this to work?
