I need to get some detailed information about the way Desktop Maestro is scanning. Please send us your Desktop Maestro logs by following the procedure below:

1. Start Desktop Maestro > Scan > Repair
2. Run another scan > NO repair
3. Close Desktop Maestro.
4. Go to 'My Computer' -> "C:\Program Files\Desktop Maestro\Log". Inside Log folder there will be a file called Scan (.log).

*If you run a scan without repair with Desktop Maestro, it will automatically generate a file called Scan (.log).

5. Zip the file up and attach it to this thread.

I will then be able to assist you further.

Not this log..

Check your DM setting again.. make sure that you have checked "Log Scanning".

1. Go to your DM
2. Setting -> General -> Scan and Repair -> Make sure "Log Scanning" is checked and save the setting
3. Now, go back to your DM Home
4. Scan -> Repair -> Scan -> No repair -> Close
5. Go to your setting again -> Open Log folder -> there should be a file called "scan.log"

Thats the file that AC asked for.

Hope this help

Thanks block53 i will try again.

Thanks :)

To fix this, please do the following:

1. Open a notepad
2. Copy the lines below to the notepad:

c:\program files\internet explorer\ieuser.exe
\program files\internet explorer\ieuser.exe

3. Save the file as exData (capital D and just simply save it to your Desktop)
4. Go to My Computer > C > Program Files > Registry Mechanic > Data.
5. Then, please move the exData on your Desktop to the Data folder
6. Run Registry Mechanic > Scan > Repair to see if the problem persists

*If the problem persists, please re-send your scan.log file.

Not bcuz of that reason.
That entries are created when its in used. You will not able to delete them if the files or entries are in used. As a result, you just put the entries in exData.txt so that it wont get detected again.

I had this problem before and one of the staff explained to me about these.

Another common problem will be flash9.ocx that most of users have. Same thing, you will get GREEN Tick once you put that in exData.txt.

Another good sugguestion for you. You might come across temp files that not repaired by DM. If you face problem, try to boot into safe mode to perform scan cuz DM can get rid of them in safe mode.

In safe mode, not much process or files in used.

Hope this help :)
