SpywareDoctor StartUpGuard EATS UP Zonealarm Anti-Virus Library

Strangest thing today... I boot up my computer, and SpywareDoctor Startup Guard EATS UP ZoneAlarm's "avlib.ppl" and "scanningprocess.exe" because of "avlib.ppl"

So my ZoneAlarm Anti-Virus is deactivated and requests updating.

Anyone knows what's going on? :confused: :confused:

What version of Spyware Doctor are you running and also ZA antivirus? Could you also provide a screenshot so that we can investigate this further.

Well, my computer's old and kinda messed up. So when I usually go to ZA window, it usually doesn't work, unless I click something like Privacy Advisor, so I can call up ZA main panel.

But basically, the pop-up alert title is: "Anti-Virus De-Activated Warning", asking me to click its link to update ZA-AV.

I'll have to reboot in just a minute to give you a screenshot.

What version of Zone Alarm Antivirus are you running? we'll have to investigate this further.

Sorry, I tried rebooting to get a screenshot, but couldn't at this time.

I believe I have ZA Security Suite ver. 7.0.483.000

My Spyware Doctor Product version is: 5.5.1.322
Database ver.: 5.10620e
AV Engine ver.: 5.5.1.2

...

You know what? ... I just found out that ZA came out with 8.0.15 version around last week. I just might think about upgrading w/i 24 hours.
