A few questions I have...

So yeah I just registered here and am a proud owner of Spyware Doctor. So when i heard they had some forums I needed to see what was here. I then noticed that there were a few threads that say there is no compatibility of firefox 3 with sd. I then read that it was up but you need to upgrade, so i have a few questions to ask you guys out here.

1. I have the older version 5 and not the 6th. Does that mean that I am or not compatible with the firefox thing.

2. If I still have to upgrade do I have to uninstall spyware doctor?( I only have the standalone version)

3. If I uninstall do I have to put in my license again because I lost that key and is there a way to find it?

Those are all the questions for now. Thanks for the answers in advance.

Hi bobojingles and welcome :)

1. Everytime a new version is available, the information will be posted on the forums, stating the new changes in the new build - http://www.pctools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53495. The new v6.0.0.383 now detects Firefox 3, whereas the previous SDv5 does not.

2. We normally advise users to uninstall before reinstalling the latest version, however, you can also reinstall if you choose to.

3. There is no need to re-enter your license code, upon uninstalling or reinstalling.
