New Version 6.0.0.383 messed up Windows MAIL

How do i redownload SD Version 6.0.0362? the last version before 383

Since i have installed the New Version of Spyware Doctor Version 6.0.0.383

Somehow or another it has deleted my Passwords for my email accounts using Windows Mail. It will not let Windows Mail remember my password. i have to keep manually adding my username and password to get my emails

since i removed SD i have no problems now Windows Mail is able to save my passwords...

How do i solve this?

Will i removed Sd Version 6.0.0.383 and then reinstalled it, and so far having no problems with Windows Mail remembering my password..

i know i saw this post in here somewhere,

When i open SD click on Tools then Scan Settings how come Scan for rootkits hidden files isn't checked? shouldn't it be? i know probably take long to scan but don't you think it should be checked when most other spyware software and antivirus check for rootkits?

Are you using Spyware Doctor with Antivirus? Or do you use the Email Guard Addon? If so, please try disabling the Email Guard to see if that makes a difference.

The rookit options doesn't seem to slow down my system by much. On the other hand 'scan for archives' does take up significantly more time.
So I guess you can enable rootkit option, but please check files detected thoroughly. it may produce more FP than the usual.

If you are going to enable the option to check archives, then you can shorten the time by putting packages like windows service pack (sp2.cab i think) in the global action list. It's like making your own whitelist items...

Agree with Ditto. If rootkit scans is selected, chances of false positives occurring is a lot more likely and the average user may make an accidental deletion of these files. It is probably a good idea for these types of users to send in the details to support or post it on this forum to check out before removal.

Hopefully the problem you are having with Windows Mail is all fixed.

Windows Live Mail has replaced Windows Mail and Outlook Express.

WLM has had no issues with SD/AV
