I recently installed Windows Vista SP1 and it requested that I deactivate my firewall and Antivirus so I deactivated PCT Firewall Plus and PCT Spyware Doctor with Anti-Virus. However, after the installation completed successfully, I reactivate the two, but I keep on getting a security alert message saying my firewall is deactivated as well as my anti-virus and it is extremely annoying. I know they are activated, but the computer does not seem to recognize that they are online. Also, note: I have restarted the computer numerous times and it has the same effect, nothing, and I am running the most up-to-date versions of both! Is there anyone that can help me resolve this issue, please?

Hi
You could try reinstalling both products over the top of the current installation.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I had KIS on my Vista PC for a month and the same thing happened to me. It constantly said no firewall, no antivirus etc. To tell the truth, knowing that KIS was actually active, I just ignored it. What I'm trying to say here is that maybe it's a Vista problem and not something relating to SD.
