VirtuMonde keeps showing up

I have cleaned VirtuMonde couple of times and it keeps showing up. Please advise.

I think a little more info like OS and how You 'cleaned it' might be useful. That one does not leave by itself or with the use of SD alone.
Did You run VundoFix?
Did You delete/disable system restore? (in Windows or any other programs? )

Description: Virtumonde modifies the Windows Internet connection mechanism and display various pop-up advertisements.

The Virtumonde infection should be removed by Spyware Doctor. However to do this you may need to scan/remove multiple times in a row. The reason for this is the Virtumonde characteristics only allow the removal of one file at a time, because some of the files are protected and require a reboot to be removed.

As a test could you please make sure you have the latest Smart Updates, perform a full scan/remove, reboot the PC and do another scan/remove. Please try this method for 4 or 5 times.

People have reported that performing this method (sometimes) for up to 8 - 10 scans seem to see the infection removed.

1.) Disconnect Internet
2.) Boot computer in safe mode
3.) Run a scan and clean infections
4.) Re-boot in safe mode again
5.) Run another scan to make sure it comes back clean
