does anyone know how I can disable the "Network ID" and "Properties" buttons on the Network Identification tab in System properties for the administrators group. I only want the administrator user to be able to adjust network settings from this tab. Due to other limitations in the Power Users group, I can't just put users into that group which already has that disabled

Without using a third-party application you can only restrict based on individual users or the entire machine (i.e. not by group). So by placing this setting in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER key of each user to restrict should do the job.

This may work in Win9x, but does not seem to work in Win2kPro.
