What version of SD are you currently running? and what are you doing to get that error message?

I just downloaded it and walla. It stated that error. Why?

Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling SD, then perform a Smart Update.

Try installing MD3 manually to see if this resolves the issue? This is the first time i've seen this error ;)

Downloading Malware Detective:

** Please make sure Spyware Doctor is Shut Down **

1. Download the file MalwareDetective3.zip from this link:
http://support.pctools.com/manager/downloads.php?file=MalwareDetective3.zip
2. Extract MalwareDetective3.zip so you get file name pcttMD3.exe
3. Put file pcttMD3 into the Spyware Doctor folder (Malware Detective Tool should now be installed)
4. Run Spyware Doctor - > Perform a Smart Update
5. Select Tools Option from the left menu.
6. Malware Detective should now be available.
7. If the Tools options is still not available, please navigate to C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor and run the pctmaldetective.exe file from there.

I did what you wrote. It still shows up. The file pcttMD3 is in my Spyware Doctor folder. What do I do now?

Could you provide a screenshot of the whole screen? When the error appears and attach it to this thread?

I need another screenshot so I can see when the error is occuring? As I haven't been able to recreate or seen this error before. In the original screenshot, there is no SD GUI or popup notices. This would really help us investigate this further.

Still waiting for help with my situation concerning my error with MD when updating. Any help would be great about right now. Thank you.
