sony laptop

so im havin a sony laptop (http://www.popvoucher.co.uk/productshow_catid-152_lid-5743_c-Sony,Vaio,NR21J,S,.html) trouble when im typing tha cursor will jump to another spot and i have to erase what i typed and do it again anytips on how to fix it????i dont have any virus or anything i scan my laptop everyday.im not sure if i explained that well enough
ok im on a laptop i dont use a mouse,now to tha problem
i can be typing and tha cursor or what eva u would like to call it will jump back so i will be typing inside another word as if i put it there.
example how it should be- "my name is mari"
example how it does sumtimes- "my na is mari me"

Are you touching the mouse pad as you type by accident? This has happened to me several time in that when I type my arm is touching the mouse pad and when I lean into it the cursor jumps. Hopefully this helps, if the problem persists contact the manufacturer or look on the Sony Website for a driver update on the mouse.
