This been discussed in another thread in here

http://www.pctools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=53240

You need to contact McAfee to have then update your software to fix this,

This isn't a PCtool Problem..

Hey, that's smart. McAfee screws some other app and you blame the other app.

That just rewards McAfee for their bad behavior, intentional or unintentional.

That doesn't make sense.
Unless you work for McAfee.

If McAfee doesn't fix their problem a) promptly and b) permanently I recommend that PCT sue them, if that's what it takes to get their attention.

Have you ran the latest updates for Mcafee?

Why would you think this is a PCtools problem?

There is no software that i know of that totally perfect, Everyone software once in awhile gets a false postitive and most software will fix it the next day through updates...

Maybe you like to contact Mcafee Support

I had a problem similar to that, i ran Spyware Terminator and it found a backdoor Hchp something like that in Programs Files Spyware Doctor/klb

And posted a message about that in here to see whats going on since i knew it had to be a false postitive because it happened on both of my computers, Someone told me to contact Spyware Terminator for help and i didnt complaing threating to cancel my subscrition, i contact Spyware Terminator through there forums and they sent an update within 2 days and the problem went away, which had nothing to do with my Spyware doctor software, I removed Spyware Terminator off 1 of my computers because at the time wasnt sure when they were going to send the update, funny thing after i removed Spyware terminator they sent an update to fix it.. but no way i was going to remove my Spyware Doctor since there was nothing wrong with it even when Spyware terminator thought there was...

I don't use Mcafee so wouldn't know what other app they might of screwed up. ..Like i said to the other member No software is totally perfect, As some members say its good to have more than 1 spyware software installed on your computer incase one doesnt get it all that the other one might, Personally i have more than 3 <G>. But Spyware Doctor is the only one that i use as my main software and is my only paid software, Others are Free and use to scan only :-)

@ gogsythreat
The key point here, as pointed out by ohso, is that if another company has a problem, you take it out on SD? Your loss!
