Lost Keyboard Function On Update

I don't know if it was SD update or Norton update early this morning, but I lost all function of my keyboard. [ I am typing with on-screen keyboard ]. Tried switching keyboards, still didn't work. Has anyone else have this problem?

NIS 2008 will conflict. Multiple online protection. Not good. Why on earth do you want anything from Symantec/Norton? Problems, problems, problems.

Try disabling nis 2008 and see if that helps.

It wasn't the update. Don't know what it was. May have been a bug. Called Dell support / Microsoft, I have to reformat Windows XP. AChen, Can't download new driver, corrupt microsoft software. Thanks for your help (PM's and E-mails).
I have a question after reformatting, I guess that wipes everything off the computer: Will my license codes for all of PC Tools products be good on a reformatted computer?
Wish me luck on this, I'm not a computer Geek, at least not yet, but getting there.:)
