invalid page default

In closing the last IE5 window and ocassionally Outlook express (as in ocassion) I always get the following error..MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0137:bff9a5d0.

I have checked out to the best of my abilities what is recommended but it has done nothiing. I didn't have what they said I should have ie: adds off or pop off. I have also noticed that if I open my browser from the favourites option from the windows start menu this error doesn't occur, well so it seems. But if I use the IE5 icon to start IE I get the error. Please help as when it does occur I cannot shut down properly as I can't remove the error message

Have you tried to extract KERNEL32.DLL and replace it?
