Independent Testing

I think we can all agree that PC Tools is a major player in the security software space. As such, why isn't PC Tools AntiVirus ever included in testing by the major independent av test labs? AV-Comparatives has promised a test, but has yet to deliver. AV-Test has, as far as I can tell, never included PCTAV in it's tests. Ditto for Anti-Malware-Test-Lab. It has been certified by some of the certification organizations, but that only addresses a minimal level of protection. Why isn't it more widely tested?

AV-Comparatives are changing the way they test antivirus programs so have put adding other programs on hold until their new process is settled. They did do a one-off test of PCTAV a while back, but it wasn't very favourable...less than 80% detected (That was when there was a bug that prevented it detecting certain malware).
