View Full Version : Error message when trying to install BD on Firefox

I just dragged and dropped the .xpi file into firefox and it promoted me with a window. I told it to install and then I was given the below error message. I am using Firefox 3.0 (the latest version).

See at the attachment for the error message.

I had this, just switched off IntelliGuard then installed the toolbar and switched IntelliGuard back on. Had to reboot the PC as simply restarting Firefox didn't seem to allow the addon to be picked up properly.

I have had this for one or two other addons as well since installing the latest version of SD.

I got your PM Achen and it worked:) Achen recommended turning off the behavior guard add on that I use (Threatfire) with PC Tools Internet Security. I was then able to install Browser Defender. I then simply turned back on the behavior guard and all is well.

Just turned off BG as you advised and installation went smoothly. Thanks.
