Hi!

Upon testing the new FF version of BD, I found two things that I wanted to write.

First thing is two questions on BD about its options and functionality;

1. What's "Check on page links"? I tested back and forth and came to the conclusion that in either case - enabled or disabled - it'll show scan results on Google and links that I hover over with my mouse, so what does it do really? Should it actually not scan links that I hover over on a page when it's disabled and since it's also disabled by default?

2. *How* will Browser Defender defend me from threats in my browser? Will it just automatically block me from visiting undeniable dangerous sites and show me information or also block dangerous content that might be lying on a page that I visit - e.g. some more thorough real-time protection?

The second thing is a visual bug that I found out when looking at info on the search results on Google. See attachment! It clearly doesn't look really good with the numbers and so forth, it's not as sharp as it should be in other words.

When the "Check on page links" is enabled, all the links of any page you go to will be assessed. If the option is disabled, then only google and yahoo search results will be rated. To test this, go to a web site with the "Check on page links" enabled, and when you mouse over a link the toolbar will give you the descriptive rating, and colour for the link you have hovered over. Note however that the popups are only on the google and yahoo search results pages regardless of what this option is set to.

WRT the visual bug, this only appears to be a Vista problem and we are looking into using different fontsets that look good on all platforms.

Thanks for trying it.

I see. Tested it and you've to refresh the page before it takes effect. Is there a reason why this option is disabled by default since it can be very useful and takes even shorter than rating the site you've browsed too - in other words much less than a second?
