And what about Tiger? Will Tiger be supported in the future? I'm running Leopard on Intel, but I know people nearby that still run Tiger.

We may open it up for Tiger in a future beta, however a PPC version is not very likely at this stage.

There are still tons of Mac users on PPC's, you'd be missing out on alot of potential income. :(

No kidding, the viruses/trojans/backdoors are already using non CPU specific things. There is no "Intel only" virus out there as far as I know or followed.

I'm sorry to bump such an old topic, but I would like to point out that I have 2 computers, and I hate having to connect them through a network to scan the PPC one with my Intel computer, especially since the PPC machine is a Power Mac G4, so it can withstand the heat better.

Out of curiosity, why wouldn't this be released as a Universal binary? Wouldn't it be as easy as compiling it on a PPC machine, or is there something else in the way?
