Wanted to add a picture of my SWdr's status window off my pc screen. It shows what the problem looks like, but the upload "failed". Oh well . . . the Screen picture was from a copy and paste into WordPad. The upload "failed" according to your site. I must be doing something wrong.

Anyway, I have a ticket in for Support about a disabled and seemingly "dead" software, version 5.5.1.322. My ticket is five days old and still no response from tech support. I'm not happy. I'm running On-Line Armor as a firewall and BitDefender Antivirus, but feel very uneasy without the Dr. healthy and running. The complaints seem to be hot and heavy here. Is there an overload on your Tech people? Five days is a long time not to reply back. :(

I downloaded a fix through the link Tech Support sent me. The software acted fine until it retrieved its updates. Then my pc became almost unresponsive and the hard drive just kept running and running. Fortunately I set up a System Restore after I deleted the old version (5.5.1.322) and my pc is okay again. But I'm without a healthy Spyware Doctor and six months of my subscription cost.

I replied back to Tech Support and told them what happened. I'll wait now and see what he has to say. I read some posts on this forum about reverting to older versions. I think that's okay if you have the old versions, but it isn't good business for customers to have to work around things that way.

Thanks for your good intention Achen. :) I'm not trying to dump on you, only PC Tools.

Can you tell us what's going on with PC Tools? They shouldn't send out software that wrecks our pcs. I think they should be honest and tell us what's really going on. Maybe extend everyone's subscription by one month to make up for the ill feelings they're creating.
