Spyware Doctor disconnected

After spending weeks cleaning bugs out of my XP Pro laptop to no avail, I proceeded to reinstall Windows. I finally got things cleaned up but I can't seem to 'Open' Spyware Doctor. I can get it in the tray but I can't open it. It indicates it is 'disconnected'. Can I reinstall it? I tried clicking on different files in the Spyware Doctor folder, but nothing seems to make a difference.

Yes a reinstall should work.
First download the latest version of Spyware Doctor from here (http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/download) or Spyware Doctor with Antivirus from here (http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor-antivirus/download)
Please uninstall Spyware Doctor by clicking Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
Restart your computer
Delete the Spyware Doctor folder if it still exists (the default location is C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor)
Double-click the file you downloaded earlier to install Spyware Doctor
Restart your computer
